• Review of "Heritage Christian School" at Sharpsburg

  My boys are 16 and 14 years old and both completing their second year at Heritage Christian. What attracted us to Heritage was the caring, family atmosphere. We wanted out children in an environment where they felt loved, wanted and known by name. Learning can not take place if emotional needs are not being met. This comes first. We have not been disappointed!! I am amazed at the way students support each other and lift each other up. In addition, the opportunities for growth and leadership are many. We are also very pleased Mr. P (the new head of school) joined us this year. His passion for Jesus infects those around him!! He is also a very experienced and committed leader, leading by example. He is rapidly bringing this small school up to date in many areas, including technology. We are looking forward to what God is doing and what He is going to do in this school!!

  Really learn what the Bible has to say. We enjoy the structure of the service. Not a rock and roll Church. Great place to be rooted in God's word. Fantastic sermons and youth group activities.

• Review of "Trinity Christian School" at Sharpsburg

  Trinity Christain School stared as a nice actual Chriatian school when I came in 1st grade. Christian values were an actual importance to the school and they continually worked towards that. However ever since they began to expand, they slowly diverted from their original values. Now Trinity “Christian” School cares more about the progress and achievements of their athletics than developing christianity in their students. While these issues may arise with the expansion and quick growth of a school. It certainly doesnt excuse the fact that the school puts almost no effort in combatting the problems. Although TCS have just introduced new students from less “Christian” schools, major problems with TCS have been here for many years. Ever since my years in grade, I began to notice a slippery slope in the quality of Trinity. Espcially since my brother, who attended several years ago, spoke numerous times about the double standerds, drugs, and racism of the school. An example being his experience with racism. He constantly got called racist slur and eventually his friend, who happened to be a black girl, caused him to negatively respond. Due to this type of issue always happening, which the school again did nothing to stop it, he returned with a racial slur. While his actions are not excused, he recieved a large punishment while the girl had no punishment. This is just one of the numerous occasions of an un christain like action that went unpunished or was held at a double standard. Trinity also has a problem by accepting every student, and actively recruiting athletes to the school. Kids are expelled every single year for various reasons, and this is partially due to accepting every student, regardless of how bad of a background the student has at their previous school. The new recruits have turned the school into a party enviroment, where rumors of their hard partying, alcohol, and sex are overlooked by the administration in the name of winning in athletics. Another massive issue with the school is their vaping, weed, alchohol, and other illegal related products. Although they have been attempting to “fix” these problems. Their attempts are basically a joke. The students blantently vape and openly speak about their numerous they hold. Numerous students have been caught vaping, but the punishment has been the equivalent of a slap on the wrist, such as getting detention for one morning after getting exposed. For athletes however, there is no punishment for these actions, as a group of athletes were caught vaping, but there were no consequences for their actions. The problem extends to the middle school as well, as kids selling vapes have become a problem. Ive been attending TCS for over 12 years and Ive seen Trinity come from an actual Christian school to fake school filled with hypocrites of administators. I would actually recommend going to a public school other than TCS because at least there they dont lie and simply put a Christain lable over their ungodly school.

• Review of "Lee Middle School" at Sharpsburg

  tbh i love this school, i dont rlly understand why some say its horrible?? if you think ab it the people who say its a bad school are usually those ones who get themselves in trouble too much smh. ik that rumors, drama, talking behind backs are natural in middle school, and as students we cant rlly control that. im a 7th grader and i miss 6th grade sm. mrs watson was def the best teacher in 6th grade, she was super sweet and i miss her. i remember at the beginning of 6th grade, i felt like lee wouldnt be so good. the beginning of my 6th and 7th grade was pretty boring from what i remember but it got much better after that once you sink into the year. theres some friends i have that i dont have a class with atm, but i feel lucky to have my bsf in one of them. lee is a great school in my opinion, nobody can convince me otherwise.
